After a successful kickstarter campaign, Maeve has completed filming her latest short film ‘RICK & CINNAMON’ which is due to be released in summer 2025 after it has done the film festival circuit.
Maeve’s latest short ‘sketch like film’ ‘Peccability’ has finished filming and is set to do the festival circuit.
NIGHT LIGHT
Maeve O’Haire alongside co-writer Tom Chandler have just completed their off west end run of their show Night Light. In the space of two weeks the show was nominated for two Offie awards of “Set Design” and “Most Promising New Playwright”.
They hope for Night Light to get picked up and taken further as the feedback of the run was incredible. It received two Four star reviews being described as ‘warm and funny and real and human” - London Pub Theatres.
Maeve’s first documentary - The Great Greek Rescue - A dogumentary will be released later this summer. The documentary focuses on the rescue centre Maeve got her dog Zuri from (Zakinthos, Greece), and the struggles they face in trying to keep a shelter up and running. The film aims to bring an insight into Sue Deeth’s life through her battles with the Greek governments ever changing laws, how we can help build the first fully licensed rescue in Zakinthos and what it means to rescue a stray from abroad.

Maeve’s debut play ‘Night Light’ which she co wrote with her friend Tom Chandler - had its first rehearsed read through at the Gatehouse followed by feedback and a Q&A session. Maeve and Tom hope for the play to progress further in the new year.

Giggle Riot’s Juliet & Romeo has been nominated for an OffFest award for best short run in the Camden Fringe category. Maeve is incredibly thankful to everyone who came and supported the show and is excited for the future of this play.

Maeve’s new work ‘Unleash Chaos’ received two honourable mentions from the London - Worldwide Comedy Short Film Festival and London x4 Seasonal Short Film Festival. The small short will be out in the near future. Maeve shares the screen with the exceptional, Gretel Munday, Harry Aspinwall, Samuel Cruz, Jack MacLaughlin, Yllari Herrouet, Justin Walker and Chloé Wilson.
Maeve’s film Attenuate, which is due to be released officially in November 2020 has received ‘The Best Sports Film’ by Flicks Film Festival.
The American Golden Picture international Film Festival awarded Maeve Best Lead Actress. The film also won, Best Supporting Actor and Best Fiction Short with an Honorable Mention. It has also been selected to be apart of Andomeda Film Festival in Turkey. Maeve wrote Attenuate alongside Jonathan Fink. The story follows a girl through the pressures parents and coaches put on young athletes that leads to the current American crisis, Opioid addiction.
Maeve appeared as Juliet in the premiere of Juliet and Romeo written by Tom Inman and directed by Tom Chandler at the Perdition.

Maeve just finished filming a short film directed and produced by Yudelka Heyer called Honey Cycle premiering next month.
Maeve and the rest of the Cast of TO YOU premiered Ellinor Olinders short film at AMC Theatres in Times Square. The film explores sexual assault within students in school and nicely ties in to the Me Too movement.
